Usually during winter there is a great bite for the different Mackerel (Cero, Spanish, King). It is usually based on chumming up Ballyhoo and the Macs will follow. It took a while as there was an incoming most of the evening but as soon as it switched and there was an outgoing, the bite turned on. Unfortunately it was right at sunset and with that, the Ballyhoo disappeared and again the Macs followed. It is always a crazy outing with one person, trying to rig wire setups, catch bait, hook and fight the fish, and re-rig when you lose. I gotta figure out a better system. Still.
